The Vocal Music program is a comprehensive plan of music education through vocal studies.

The fundamental purpose of the Carolina Forest High School Vocal Music curriculum is threefold: 

• to promote excellence in all aspects of music performance, 
• to provide basic preparation for future studies and careers in music, and 
• to promote interest in all musical and artistic endeavors at the high school and in the Myrtle Beach-Conway community.

The main emphasis of the Music Department is performance, sustaining the concept that active participation in music and the arts is an integral part of building a quality life and community.
