Reading Mentor Program

Program Objectives:
To improve student academic performance
To improve student lifeskills
To improve student behavior
To improve student attitudes and/or character

Reading Mentors:
Build relationships by reading aloud with their students
Are positive and consistent when reading aloud
Provide structure by keeping their students engaged in reading through questioning and conversation

Once/twice a month, you will have the opportunity to work with students in the after school program at Carolina Forest Elementary School.

Participation may count toward community service hours for other organizations!
