National Honor Societies
Honor societies are an integral part of our extracurricular activities at CFHS. Once students are inducted, they become even more involved with campus life, whether it be supporting grounds beautification, tutoring students who need help in specific academic areas, or committing to charitable organizations on a national and local scale such as the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, the American Cancer Society, Street Reach Mission in Myrtle Beach, or the Horry County Shelter Home. We have chapters of the National Honor Society; Mu Alpha Theta, which is the National Math Honor Society; Quill and Scroll; the Social Studies Honor Society; the German Honor Society; the National Science Honor Society; the National English Honor Society; the National Art Honor Society; The International Thespian Honor Society; and the National Beta Club. Each society has its own membership qualifications and rules, meeting dates, and activities as detailed on the individual link for each group.
