Panthers in the News!
In the 2008-09 sports season, Carolina Forest competed in the 4A State Classification. This classification is the largest in the state. During the inaugural season the girl's and boy's cross country, boy's and girl's basketball and boy's soccer won the Region VI AAAA Championship. Since its beginning in 1997 the CFHS has competed in the AAA classification and its athletic teams have seen much success. At least 12 of the 17 varsity teams make the state playoffs each year, and we have had four Girls Golf State Championships. We have achieved one Lower State Wrestling Championship and several individual state champions in swimming, golf, track, wrestling and strength competitions. Many of our varsity sports such as volleyball, swimming, golf, girls soccer, girls cross country, girls track, and baseball have achieved Region Championships.
